NAMSAP’s webinars provides timely information of special interest to professionals working within the MSP and MSA industry and those seeking to learn more about this evolving area of practice. Webinar sessions are presented in “real time” via the Internet and through recordings. Participants view webinar materials online while listening to the audio portion of the presentation via the telephone or their computer audio system. Throughout the live webinar sessions, participants are encouraged to interact with other attendees and the presenter(s).  As of 2016, all NAMSAP webinars apply for (1) credit hour of continuing education for the following credentials:

  • Certified Geriatric Care Manager (CGCM)
  • Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) / Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP)
  • Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional (CMSP)
  • Certified Workers' Compensation Professional (CWCP)
  • Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC)

Please check each webinar  especially those prior to 2016  because credential approvals and total hours may vary on occasion.

*** Refund Policy: NAMSAP acknowledges that extenuating circumstances may cause an attendee to cancel their attendance or participation. If you are unable to attend a webinar or in-person educational offering (i.e., Annual Meeting & Educational Conference, regional meeting, etc.) after already making payment, you are encouraged to offer your place to an industry friend or colleague. However, if you require a refund, NAMSAP will provide one if a request is made in writing ( at least two (2) weeks in advance of the webinar/event. However, an administrative processing fee of $25 (webinar) or $50 (in-person) will be assessed. If the request is within two (2) weeks of an in-person event, then there will be no refund provided. If you cancel attendance of a webinar then you will be issued a credit good for one (1) year.

NAMSAP wanted to alert its membership and industry stakeholders to an important issue regarding zero-dollar workers’ compensation Medicare Set Aside allocation submissions. CMS recently indicated that it has altered its standards for review of zero-dollar WCMSA submissions.
