CHCC Recognizes NAMSAP as a Provider of Continuing Education
In March 2005, the Commission on Health Care Certification (CHCC) recognized the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP) as a pre-approved training program and provider of continuing education credits. Professionals seeking initial training and renewal credit for the Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC) and/or the Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) credential can acquire continuing education units by attending NAMSAP’s online Webinar forums and regional onsite workshops. Webinar sessions occur in “real time” and allow attendees to simultaneously view program materials online and listen to the program presentation via the telephone. Utilization of this distance communication technology is a cost-effective, convenient method of gaining a comprehensive understanding of Medicare Set-Aside allocation. In addition to providing training, regional workshops allow attendees to interact and network with colleagues from a variety of professional backgrounds including attorneys, nurses, settlement planners, claims professionals, and others.
NAMSAP is proud to be designated an approved training organization by CHCC and is committed to providing the most current information available within this rapidly developing industry. Program presenters are recognized leaders in the specialty and are dedicated to facilitating learning and shared knowledge between all disciplines involved in the Medicare Set-Aside process.
