Michael’s business experience includes 24 years of structured settlement experience having worked for several national firms. While working for AON Brokerage at their world headquarters in Chicago, Michael served as National Vice President – Technical Markets prior to joining SFA. During his tenure at The Hartford he held positions as a Home Office Consultant and assistant director in the Secured Benefit Services division where he had oversight of The Hartford’s retained assets program and assisted workers compensation and liability claim personnel in all claim offices with proactive handling and resolution of complex catastrophic injury claims through the utilization of all available settlement tools including structured settlements, Medicare Set-Aside Accounts, Medicaid disability trusts, custodial medical accounts and high risk health insurance pools He led the development of the in-house Medicare Allocation unit reflecting a saving of approximately $1.26 million annually in vendor expenses. He was the recipient of the 1996 Chairman’s Award of Excellence for work with quadriplegics, paraplegics and traumatic brain injury claims in workers compensation, 1996 Recipient of P&C Claim Award of Excellence for work in resolution of quadriplegic, paraplegic and traumatic brain injury claims in Worker’s Compensation with excess of $70 million in documented savings. Mark is currently the Vice President of the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP). He was also a featured instructor on Medicare and Life Care Planning issues with the former University of Florida/Medipro LLC program. Over the past several years, Mark has been a featured presenter at numerous seminars and other industry events across the country. His presentations have included Medicare Basics, Medicare Set-Asides and Medicare Part D (prescription drugs). Mark grew up in Wallingford, Connecticut. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut with Bachelor of Science degrees in Legal Studies and Sociology. Mark relocated to South Florida in 1992 to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University School of Law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While at law school, Mark served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable John D. Wessel (15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida) and was a research assistant for Professor Leslie Larkin Cooney. Robert Lewis is Chief Legal Officer and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Crowe Paradis Services Corporation, a national Medicare compliance company. Mr. Lewis has been at the forefront of Medicare Secondary Payer compliance and for his accomplishments was selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of the "Top 40 lawyers under the age of 40" in 2004.

Jon Gice is the 2nd VP of the workers compensation major case unit at Travelers. An insurance executive with 30 years’ experience, Gice previously held senior leadership positions at Royal & Sun Alliance, Managed Comp, Orion Capital, and the St. Paul Companies. In addition to having built and managed workers compensation claims and managed care programs, he has lead workplace health, safety, and underwriting efforts. He holds a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University where he graduated cum laude. He holds insurance designations as a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM, and Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA). He also holds medical management related designations as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Disability Management Specialists (CDMS) and Medicare Set Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC). He is a frequent author in the Journal of Workers Compensation and other insurance publications. He is also a speaker on industry trends and topics such as Medicare, Chronic Pain, and Catastrophic Case Management at regional and national conferences.
David J. Korch, JD, AIC, SCLA is the National Director of Workers Compensation Services for EPS Settlement Group as a national resource for the brokerage staff in the negotiation and settlement of workers compensation claims and third party claims with a workers’ compensation component through the utilization of structured settlements. He has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years as a multi-line claim handler, supervisor, claim manager, home office claim consultant and structured settlement broker. He was associated, for over 17 years, as a large loss settlement consultant with structured settlement programs at The Travelers and The Hartford specializing in the settlement of workers compensation claims
Mark Popolizio, J.D. is a Senior Account Executive for NuQuest/Bridge Pointe. Prior to joining NuQuest/Bridge Pointe, Mark practiced law for ten years concentrating in the areas of workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense litigation. Mark developed a national Medicare practice that included Medicare Set-Asides and general compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute. Mark also served as Medicare counsel for a national TPA. While in private practice, Mark represented numerous carriers, third party administrators and self insureds. In addition to his workers’ compensation and Medicare practices, Mark served as the Executive Director of the Negotiated Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program (NWCIP) which is an alterative dispute resolution system under the Florida workers’ compensation act.
