Nominees to the five (5) open seats to the NAMSAP Board of Directors


A link to the electronic ballot will be distributed to all NAMSAP members in good standing. Successful candidates will be installed as members of the board on January 1, 2016.


Amy Bilton, JD, MSCC, CMSP

Profession: Attorney

Biography
Biography I have been practicing law since 1998 and MSP Compliance since 2001. I have been involved with NAMSAP for years, acting as the Chair of the Legal Committee in the past and Co-Chair of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee at present. I also currently serve on the NAMSAP Advisory Council. I am a frequent speaker at NAMSAP events and on webinars, and have represented the group in Washington DC on the issue of opioids in the MSA. In addition to my MSP practice, I continue to handle and try cases before the Workers' Comp Commission in Illinois.

Prior NAMSAP leadership experience(s):
Past Chair of Legal Committee, Current Co-Chair of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee, NAMSAP delegate to Washington, DC on the issue of opioids in the MSA. I also serve on the NAMSAP Advisory Council.

If elected, I hope to accomplish the following:
I hope to continue to work with CMS to bring more evidence-based, realistic allocations to MSAs, particularly in NAMSAP's efforts to reduce opioids in the MSA, with a focus on more positive and realistic patient outcomes.


Annie M. Davidson, JD, CMSP 
Profession: Attorney
MSP Compliance Counsel, ExamWorks Clinical Solutions

Brief Biography
I am MSP Compliance Counsel for ExamWorks Clinical Solutions and I have comprehensive experience in the areas of Medicare Secondary Payer Act compliance and Medicaid recovery in liability, no-fault, and worker's compensation matters. I provide high-quality legal analysis to ensure the integrity and quality of ExamWorks Clinical Solutions MSP compliance services and related products. I am a nationally recognized expert on MSP issues and speak regularly across the country.

Prior NAMSAP leadership experience(s)?
In 2013 and 2014, I worked to help the Legislative Committee Chair at the time draft NAMSAP and industry responses to regulatory changes proposed by CMS in light of the SMART Act.

If elected, I hope to accomplish the following:
I will work with all NAMSAP stakeholders to ensure innovative solutions for issues facing our industry. I will collaborate to have meaningful impact on federal legislation, critical input on regulatory changes, and a broad voice for all involved.

If elected, I would bring the following to the table:
I left private practice in May 2016, so I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table having seen issues from both the litigation and now vendor side. I am committed to helping NAMSAP members devise creative solutions to the problems we encounter.

I am admitted to practice law in Minnesota the United States District Court for Minnesota.

 

Greg Gitter, CMSP
Profession: Consultant
President, Legacy Claim Solutions   

Brief Biography
Greg Gitter is the President of Legacy Claim Solutions, a firm specializing in negotiating resolution of High-Exposure Worker’s Compensation claims for excess carriers, employers and insurance companies across the country. Greg has been involved in the Workers' Compensation arena for 20 years in various capacities at both the State and Federal levels.  In addition, he has served on the NAMSAP board as Treasurer for the past two years.

Prior NAMSAP leadership experience(s)?
Greg has served two years (2015-present) as the Treasurer of NAMSAP and is standing for reelection to his second three-year term. Previously, he was the Chair of the Membership Committee and is an active member of the Annual Conference Planning Committee.

If reelected, I hope to accomplish the following:
My objective is to continue to serve the organization, helping it to continue to grow to be the preeminent organization in MSP compliance issues.

If reelected, I would bring the following to the table:
My knowledge and experience from a "payer" perspective is a continued asset to the organization is an asset in that ultimately, they are the group we serve in managing and addressing the issues surrounding MSP compliance.

Beth Hostetler, RN BSN MSCC CMSP
Profession: Executive, MSP Compliance Services
Director, Albertsons Companies

Brief Biography
Brief Biography Beth Hostetler is the Director of Medicare Services, Corporate Risk Management, for the Albertsons Companies. She has provided MSP compliance and case management services to Albertsons/Safeway since 2001, both as an employee and under Hostetler Healthcare Solutions. Prior to this, Beth served as the Branch Manager for Crawford & Company, overseeing their Medical Case Management and Vocational Rehabilitation services. Beth is a regular speaker at industry conferences, including NAMSAP in 2014 and 2016, and will be speaking at the upcoming NWCD conference in November. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received her BSN, Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is holds Certified Case Manager (CCM), MSCC and CMSP certificates.

Jeff Knipper, MSCC, CMSP
Profession: Medicare Compliance

Brief Biography
Over 25 years of experience in the workers' compensation claims industry.  CCSI Director of Medicare services since 2009. Member of NAMSAP since 2010. A speaker at the NAMSAP national conferences in 2012 and 2015. Instructor/speaker at the inaugural CMSP class in 2010. Completed over 500 MSAs and over 200 CMS submissions since 2009. Always looking for learning opportunities and looking to return the favor.

If elected, I hope to accomplish the following:
I want to bring a responsible and logical influence to MSA policy recommendations advanced by NAMSAP.  I want to find more ways that NAMSAP can bring benefit to the "rank and file" members.

If elected, I would bring the following to the table:
I bring a commitment to honesty and integrity. I bring loyalty to the true purpose of the Medicare compliance industry. I bring a voice that is not biased by agendas contrary to the purpose of our industry.

Monica A. Williams, BSN, RN, CCM, CRRN, LNC, MSCC, CMSP
Profession: MSP Consulting / Allocating

Brief Biography
Monica Williams is President of MWC Associates, LLC.  Formerly a national Catastrophic Program Manager for Intracorp with over 20 years in case management, she now provides Medicare/WC consulting, medical cost projections, complex case reviews and is a registered Catastrophic Case Manager for the State of Georgia. She consults on CMS submission, MSPRC compliance and assists with establishing needs for catastrophic cases.  She holds a BSN in Biology and Nursing from Jacksonville State University.

If elected, I hope to accomplish the following:
Provide support and mentorship opportunities for the organization. Help to increase membership and establish programs for new business owners.

Rita (Ayers) Wilson
Profession: MSP Compliance Services

Brief Biography
Rita is CEO of Tower MSA Partners.  With more than 25 years in leadership positions in Pharmacy and PBM technology, worker’s compensation and MSP compliance,  Rita's expertise spans both clinical and business applications within the realm of Medicare Part D and MSP compliance.   At Tower, Rita designed Tower’s MSP Automation Suite, its S/111 Reporting user interface, its CMS response benchmark analytics module and was the first to integrate pre-MSA intervention tracking into an MSP platform.

Leadership / communications skills to drive results Marketing expertise to enhance NAMSAP's industry image.  Time & access to resources to support NAMSAP initiatives.  Clinical / technical expertise to push EBM focus.
