More than 70 professionals attended NAMSAP's first-ever meeting and educational conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando-Airport on November 11, 2005.
Participants were treated to cutting edge presentations and practical approaches to Medicare Secondary Payer compliance by nationally recognized experts. The following participant comment is typical of those received following the conference,

The day started with the Annual Membership Meeting followed by dynamic panel discussions and presentations with topics such as: how to consider Medicare's interest in cases that do not meet the CMS review threshold; how to utilize a Special Needs Trust to protect both Medicare's interests and Medicaid benefits for dual eligibility cases, conditional payment resolution from pre-settlement negotiation to post-settlement appeal and how to comply with the Medicare Secondary Payer statute in liability cases.
Participants were pampered with gourmet meals throughout the day and a cocktail party to close the event.
